Hillstomp: Lace up your stompin’ boots! This DIY duo mashes up the blues into a feral, back alley howl of a set. “Hurricane” Henry Christian on slide guitar and “Lord Johnny” Johnson on drums (or buckets, or cans, or lids) put Mississippi trance blues, Appalachia and punkabilly into a blender and churn out an infectious sound that begs for dancing and hell-raising. The Portland duo has been both converting skeptics and preaching to the choir in live shows that are crackling with energy and “what the heck just happened?” Get some! To learn more, click here.

The Johnson County Coroners do not believe in luck, but rather that fortune favors the bold. They also believe in pure unabashed Rock and Roll. This belief is reflected in the high energy sound of this  5 piece Blues/Rock band established in Montrose, CO. The Johnson County Coroners produce a fiery blend of Texas Blues, Mississippi Delta Blues, Colorado Blues and good old fashion “Cold-Steel-Blues”. To learn more, click here.
