Just saying the name, Allman, evokes the sound of passionate Southern rock and fiery, jazz-inflected blues. Devon, Gregg Allman’s son, heads up this musical summit in a way that not only carries the torch, but moves the tradition into the future, with his stinging guitar work leading the way.

Joining Devon in this supergroup are Jimmy Hall, formerly of Wet Willie (Keep on Smilin’), whose distinctive vocals and superb harp work are a perfect fit for the Summit.

Larry McCray on guitar is an emotional player and singer. Did you know he was the very first artist to record Warren Haynes’ neo-classic, Soul Shine? Larry did so on his 1993 record, Delta Hurricane.

And, from New Orleans, Sierra Green brings the deep soul and R&B influences she soaked up in her hometown. She’s a powerhouse, and when she’s not in the Summit, she tours with her own band, Sierra Green and The Giants.

Our gorgeous festival grounds, located in Telluride Town Park, are surrounded by mountain summits that reach for the heights. Devon Allman’s Summit will have us touch the sky, too.
