Festival Camping - The Most Fun & Affordable Way To Stay
Camp out in the heart of the Rocky Mountains in Telluride Town Park! Surrounded by towering mountain peaks, the picturesque campground is located just steps away from the Main Stage and Main Street! With a private campground stage, fun challenges to win tickets, and easy access to the festival stages, camping is a great and social way to experience the Festival. Festival camping is also the most affordable way to stay in town for the festival.
New for 2020
To enhance the camping experience, the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival has expanded the camping program to include both 4-Day and 5-Day options. The Town Park Campground (including Zone One) will now be open from Wednesday, September 16 through Monday, September 21 allowing campers another full day and night of camping. The Warner Field Campground will open on Thursday, September 17. Camping tickets will be sold per location.
All festival campers will have access to full array of campground amenities including restrooms (flushing toilets and all), shower facilities ($3 charge to run a hot shower for 5 minutes and $1 for additional time) and access to the Campground Sessions on the Campground Stage.
The Basecamp Gear Rental Camping Village will remain located in Warner Field, but will now come as a bundle including a 4-Day Camping Pass for each person in the rental. Basecamp Gear Rental purchasers will no longer have to purchase separate camping passes, easing the purchasing process. Basecamp Gear Rental Packages are only available for in the 4-Day option starting on Thursday, September 17.
Locations and Options - Choose Your Camping Experience
There are many camping experiences to choose from for everyone:
4-Day Camping at Warner Field - 4-Day Camping the baseball field on the right as you enter Telluride Town Park next to the festival entrance. This area will open at 8 am on Thursday, September 17 and offers soft grass sites, but no trees.
5-Day Camping at Town Park Campground and Zone One - the Town Park Campground is a large, wooded general area of the campground. Zone One is the wooded camping area adjacent to the main campground boarding our Campground Stage and the stunning Wilderness of Bear Creek. This campground will open Wednesday, September 16 at 8 am.
4-Day Basecamp Gear Rental Packages at Warner Field - We’ve partnered with Project Shelter once again to enhance your Blues & Brews camping experience! Let us do the work - skip packing all your camping gear and focus on the fun!
Stay at a campsite in the Blues & Brews Basecamp Village where everything (tent included) is already set up, staked down, and ready to rock. The Basecamp Village campsites have a private community area, shade structures, cooking equipment, tables, and even free morning coffee! Basecamp rental parties can check-in starting at 8 am on Thursday, September 17 with the Basecamp Host.
5-Day Vehicle and RV Camping at the Town Park Campground - A limited amount of 35 Vehicle and 10 RV Camping Passes are available for guests who wish to stay in their RV, car camping set-up or would like to have the convenience of parking next to their campsite. Vehicle and RV Camping Passes are essentially “Parking Passes” and are sold per RV or Vehicle- each person in your party also needs to purchase a 5-Day Camping Pass.
RV and Vehicle Camping opens Wednesday, September 16 at 8 am. The maximum RV length permitted in the Town Park Campground is 35 feet. Anything 18 feet or more is considered an “RV” and requires an RV Pass. Anything 18 feet or less is considered a “Vehicle” and requires a Vehicle Pass- sorry, no hookups are available.
4-Day Glamping at the Glamping Village - Leave your worries (and camping gear) behind and come stay in one of our Luxury Tents located in a prime camping location exclusive only to Glamping patrons. Each Safari-Style Tent comes equipped with all you need from top to bottom! Just bring your clothes, food, and essentials with you and we will take care of the rest! General Info
Camping at Blues & Brews is a righteous experience. To have the best time possible, read the info below to find everything you’ll need to know to have the best time possible.
Campsites are first-come, first-serve. You cannot reserve a specific site. Please note that festival camping is more of a social experience than a wilderness experience. Expect camping to be clustered close together. A campground host is on duty to help you find an available campsite and to answer any camping questions. Please respect your neighbor.
Camping passes are sold per person and per vehicle - not per site.
You must purchase a vehicle or RV pass to park your vehicle in the campground.
If you do not purchase a vehicle or RV pass you will be allowed a short grace period (30 minutes) to drive in and drop off your camping gear in the campground. You will then be guided by our staff to park your vehicle or RV to the best available parking area off-site.
Camping passes are valid for four nights, Thursday through Sunday of the festival. The campground opens to campground pass holders at 8 am on Thursday. Campground pass holders must load out by 11:00 am on Monday. You may camp in the campground before Thursday, but will need pay the town's campground fee.
The campground is open 24 hours a day. You may arrive and set up camp 24 hours a day. If you plan to arrive after-hours during the festival weekend, please check in with the campground host for assistance in locating an available campsite.
Single day camping passes are not available. You can choose to camp only one day; however, the cost is still the price of four days.
Children 11 and under are free. Children must be accompanied by adult supervision.
Only Festival pass-holders may purchase Camping Passes. In other words, you cannot camp in the campground unless you are attending the festival. You must have both a camping pass and festival pass to enter the campground during the festival.
Tickets
Camping Passes go on sale Monday, March 2 at 10 am (MT). Camping Passes are limited and will sell out in advance so get yours early!
