Artist Lineup Additions
Music, Beer and Comedy…this is what festival-goers can look forward to at the 23rd Annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. We've expanded the bill with the addition of comedians and additional musical talent to the already eclectic mix of live blues, funk, indie, rock, jam band, gospel and soul performances.
On the music side, Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, Phil Wiggins and George Kilby Jr. Trio with Andy Calder, Eagle Eye Williamson, Isaac Aragon & The Healing, and performance painter Scramble Campbell expand the line-up, while comedians Sarah Tiana and Eddie Ifft join Troy Walker and Sam Tallent to elevate the reach of the annual event. As in previous years, four comedians will be featured both Saturday and Sunday nights on the Blues Stage, along with Friday and Saturday night sets at Juke Joints at Arroyo Wine Bar and Gallery.
“Each year we try to diversify the festival and make it not just a music festival with beer but a musical ‘experience,’” says Steve Gumble, Founder of Blues & Brews. “Now in its third year comedy rounds out that experience. This year we have stepped up our game and invited international touring comedians Sarah Tiana and Eddie Ifft to join returning comedian Troy Walker as well as Colorado favorite Sam Tallent. Besides, we all need some laughter in our lives!”
