Born To Play: Joe Walsh - A Blues & Brews Artist Interview Series
Whether you know him from his membership in The Eagles, James Gang or a decorated solo career, legendary multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Joe Walsh is one of the most prolific members of Rock & Roll history alive today. After 40 years of winning the hearts of rock listeners in the studio, and continuing to impress legions of fans on stage, Walsh has done it all, seen it all and played it all. Yet, he still brings a wise and fresh approach to the music best exemplified by his 2012 release of Analog Man.
Now, making us even more excited for his Main Stage performance at Telluride Blues & Brews Festival happening this Friday, September 16th, the five-time Grammy-winning rocker takes a break from touring and various non-music projects to trade meaningful words with Telluride Blues & Brews Festival director Steve Gumble about his long history with the state of Colorado, his current touring band that he calls the “best he has ever played with,” and sets the story straight on the inspiration behind iconic song “Rocky Mountain Way.”
