2014 Coolest Campsite Challenge

The Coolest Campsite Challenge returns for it's 7th year to the 2014 Telluride Blues & Brews festival!

Town Park festival campers have the opportunity to win a pair of 2015 festival tickets, camping passes or festival t-shirts just by having a green and creative campsite during the weekend.

NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Campsites will be judged on their originality, quality, innovation, community and green accolades. Judges will walk the campground in search of the coolest campsite during the festival weekend and the winners will be announced Sunday morning, September 14th on the Main Stage.

RULES

1. The site must have a particular theme. Remember, BE ORIGINAL and have fun! (Please keep things PG Rated)

2. Post your campsite name for judging purposes. (Ex: if your theme is paradise, a name could be "Tropic Blues")

HELPFUL HINTS

A sense of community is very important in creating a unique campsite. Sites receive bonus points for offering helpful items to the camping community such as first aid or repair kits. “Some of my favorite campsite features have been solar-powered lights, food offerings (home-made pie), happy hour and the free-box theme (‘leave something useful, take something useful’)” says Denise Mongan, Director of Camping, Volunteers & Vending and Coolest Campsite judge. “Innovative ideas that support the neighborhood are very important”.
