Mitch Woods' Club 88

Mitch Woods' Club 88 is a FREE after-hours jam session hosted at Arroyo Wine Bar & Gallery (located at 220 E Colorado Ave) starting at 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights of the Festival weekend.

As host of the after-hours Piano Bar on the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise for 12 years, the extraordinary boogie-woogie/jump blues piano master Mitch Woods has created a beloved tradition. One night, after a particularly inspiring all-night session, a hand-painted sign appeared declaring “Mitch Woods’ Club 88”, and so began the stuff of legend. Mitch still hosts the late night sessions in his pajamas, and musicians come to sit in after they finish playing their sets on the main stage. He’s even performed an improbable duet with an Alphorn player. (Who cruises with a 12-foot long Alphorn, anyway?)

Now, Mitch brings his Club 88 to the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival for the same late night party! 
All musicians are invited, so bring your axe for some late night jammin’ at the piano above the mile high limit! Expect some surprise guests and lots of great music in an intimate soulful setting. Let the good times roll!
