The Telluride Blues Challenge

The Telluride Blues Challenge is back this year offering the chance for musicians to advance their career. The top six entries will play in the Telluride Blues Challenge during the ever-popular “Blues for Breakfast” on Saturday, Sept. 19th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the Telluride Elks Lodge (located at 472 W Pacific Ave).

The competition is open to any solo or duo performer, acoustic and electric, who is not currently signed to a major record label or publishing deal. Vocalists are also counted as musicians for the purpose of the competition. All submissions must be received by August 21st, 2015. To enter the Telluride Blues Challenge, click here.

The winner will receive:

- A premium Martin guitar provided by Telluride Music Company
- 20 minute set on the Main Stage at the 2015 Telluride Blues & Brews Festival
- A full 60 minute set on the Blues Stage at the 2016 Telluride Blues & Brews Festival
- $300 cash prize

The runner up will receive:

- A performance set at "Blues For Breakfast" on Sunday, September 20th, 2015
- $200 cash prize

All six finalists will receive a Telluride Blues & Brews Festival T-Shirt, a 3-Day Festival Pass and a $25 gift certificate for Telluride Music Company.
