MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

Diana Marshall

Diana began her journey with yoga in 1991 to help rehabilitate an injury. It soon became a lifelong passion and she has been teaching and sharing yoga, meditation, and healing with her students since 1998. Her styles range from a gentle meditative flow with kundalini influence to a dynamic energetic inspirational vinyasa. Asana & pranayama lead to stillness. Stillness leads to deep connection with the soul.

Diana is also a Certified Massage Therapist, CranioSacral Therapy Practioner, and Theta Healer. She will use these specialties in class to help students connect with their soul’s greatest health, happiness, passion, & joy. Diana lives in Vail, Colorado with her husband, daughter, & 2 dogs. When she’s not teaching yoga or doing massage, she can be found hiking, biking, and snowboarding.

Kristin Taylor

Kristin Taylor has breathed the air of the San Juans for the greater part of her life. Bred of the mountains, she has a deep appreciation for her native valley and the spiritual proximity of the surrounding peaks. An avid competitor of freestyle skiing growing up, and a member of the US Freestyle Ski Team, she pushed her body to the limit and endured years of repetitive injury. Yoga was the catalyst for change.

Kristin developed her foundation in yoga through a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practice under the guidance of Victoria Laws, Annie Pace and Tim Miller. She has also trained with Shiva Rea and the Samudra Global School of Living Yoga to receive her RYS 200hr Prana Flow® Energetic Vinyasa certification. As the co-owner of the Telluride Yoga Center, Kristin continues to dedicate her life to the study of yoga and finds true joy in sharing her discoveries with others.

Venus Castleberg

Venus believes that yoga is so much more than a few poses one does on the mat. It is a profound opportunity to take what is going on in ones life, bring it to the mat, and work through it there. Additionally, yoga is an invitation to take what is learned on the mat and bring it forth into every day life. Venus has studied healing arts for over 14 years and has 1000 hours of yoga training specializing in Hatha and Anusara. Her passion is to empower others to greater health, freedom and happiness.

Marie Green

Marie came to yoga through dance: her education began in Sweden at the Stockholm Academy of Ballet and she also studied in Los Angeles at The Dupree Dance Academy. Developing on her fascination with how the body works, Marie became a licensed massage therapist in 1995, received her yoga certification in 2001, and has been teaching here in Telluride, Colorado ever since.

Marie is forever thankful to her teachers and the knowledge they’ve shared along the way: Melanie Law, Margot Pope, Victoria Laws, John Friend, Sianna Sherman, Noah Maze, Desiree Rumbaugh, Denise-Marie Hatch and Christina Sell. She teaches a Hatha Yoga Flow inspired class, focusing on optimal alignment for freedom and harmony in the body, like a good deep massage!
