Showmanship, outstanding musicianship and a vibrant, rootsy sound fronted by vocalist Al “Piper” Green was all it took. Piper promises to deliver “100 percent energy” with every set. He derives that voltage from the powerhouse Hard Times, a band that’s big in every respect - numbers, sound and blues-based fervor.
