The 2020 Artist Lineup Is Here

When life throws you lemons sometimes the best thing to do is make lemonade. Given the current situation, we looked to our fans to tell us when the time was right to announce our lineup. An overwhelming majority of respondents voted to hear some positive news. With a commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of our fans and a promise to continue to monitor conditions right up to the day of the festival, we are thrilled to share the artist lineup for the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival on September 18-20, 2020.

The festival returns with a dynamic, well-rounded mix of live blues, funk, indie, rock, jam band, gospel and soul performances featuring Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Brittany Howard, Buddy Guy, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Jonny Lang and many more. "Looking at the decades of lineups from the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, this year's lineup stands to be one of the most progressive and forward looking, while still being anchored by blues fixtures," said Steve Gumble, Festival Director and Founder. "Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and Brittany Howard are artists that define this generation of blues, rock and soul music, while groups like Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Larkin Poe and Samantha Fish are primed to define the next. Legendary icons like Buddy Guy, Jonny Lang and Anders Osborne will showcase the finest of the blues craft, along with a traditional display of American roots music from the unsung legends from the Music Maker Relief Foundation artist roster. We're in for a dynamic few days of live music and I'm really looking forward to it!"

Artists will perform on three stages under towering 13,000 foot Rocky Mountain peaks as the fall foliage season begins to brighten the landscape. To complement the music, the festival proudly boasts a wide variety of local and regional food and craft vendors, children's activities and cozy late night club shows (Juke Joints). In addition, attendees can enjoy an assortment of special events throughout the festival weekend including the “Blisters & Brews” 5k fundraiser race, free Yoga Sessions, the Telluride Blues Challenge, Campground Sessions and Music Maker Relief Foundation Fundraiser Dinner. Additional artists and stand-up comedians will be announced in the coming weeks.

Honoring its craft beer roots, the festival uncorks an equally impressive and diverse collection of 56 craft breweries boasting 170 styles of craft beer and cider at the festival’s Grand Tasting. Highly regarded as one of the premier beer tasting events in the Southwest, the Grand Tasting takes place inside the festival grounds on Saturday, September 19 from Noon to 3 pm. Official craft beer partner Sierra Nevada Brewing Company will also be on hand with a bevy of favorites including classics and rare creations such as the “Back Porch Lager”, a one-of-a-kind beer which can only be found at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival.
