Telluride Blues & Brews Festival - Bal De Maison

Bal De Maison (Thursday Opening Show)

Originally Bal de Maison's were dances held at someones house - typically in the front room which was cleared of furniture. Quite often these dances were announced by the host of the party simply by standing on their porch and yelling to their neighbor. Word would often travel up to 40 miles this way. Well here is our shout out - we are having a dance party to open the Festival, spread the word!

Juke Joints (Friday & Saturday Nights)

  • 5 shows at 5 venues: Blues Stage, Elks Lodge, The Moon at O’Bannon’s, Sheridan Opera House, Liz

  • VIP Doors 9:30 pm. GA Doors 9:45 pm. Show 10:00 pm.

Schedule for Friday, September 18, 2026

Schedule for Saturday, September 19, 2026

Juke Joint passes allow access to all Juke Joint venues for the night purchased. All venues are first come, first served and based on the capacity of each venue. As the night goes on, crowds at the Juke Joints tend to rotate, so even if you can't catch the start of the band you want to see, there's a good chance you can catch the last half of their show. So, if there is one particular band you really want to see, get in line early for the show!

Fais Do Do (Sunday Closing Show)

  • Featuring Eddie 9V at the historic Sheridan Opera House

  • Doors at 9:30 PM Show at 10:00 PM

"Fais Do Do" roughly translates to "Cajun dance party". The parties were named for the gentle command ('go to sleep') young mothers offered bawling infants so that they could get back out and dance with their husbands before someone else did. This is our final show of the weekend and soon we will all go to sleep! This show is a highlight for many and one you won't want to miss!
