Campground Sessions
NEW FOR 2013! The festival weekend will now feature additional shows in the campground! This exclusive event is for campers only (camping wristband required for entrance). Blues artists Low Volts, James Bay, and Kim Churchill will be playing in the zone 1 camping area next to Lower Bear Creek Falls. Don't miss the chance to see these performances in an intimate campground setting! A limited amount of camping passes are on sale here and expected to sell out soon!
Artists like James Bay are few and far between. You can hear his influences – Crosby, Stills and Nash, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and Carole King – in his phrasing and heartfelt delivery. His music will move you and given his young age, the possibilities of his future will blow your mind. And you’ll be able to say, “I saw him when …”
Low Volts is a bona fide electric blues force of nature that is at once powerful as it is simple. Lowman likes a lot of kick in his kick drum and his dirty, fat riffs grind like an R.L. Burnside groove. This will be one meaty set.
The young Australian singer/songwriter Kim Churchill wears his heart on his sleeve and his mesmerizing guitar work has the power to hypnotize. Just try to keep your eyes off his hands as he coaxes amazing sounds from his guitar, with a dizzying array of strumming, picking and percussive effects.
Camping is the ultimate way to experience the festival as the campground is only steps away from the festival grounds and Main Street Telluride. A limited amount of camping passes are on sale here. Don't wait to get your camping pass to this amazing wilderness experience for the 20th annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival!
