Introducing The 2018 High Altitude Lounge

Back and improved for the 2018 year, the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and Colorado Yurt Company are proud to present the High Altitude Lounge Craft Beer Lounge! Throughout the event, the lounge will give attendees a chance to try rare creations from the brewery and interact with the folks from Sierra Nevada brewing company in a unique atmosphere.

A Rotating Selection of Rare Sierra Nevada Offerings

During the festival Sierra Nevada will unveil rare and sought after craft beers. Many of these beers are only available at the brewery, special events or have spent time aging deep in the breweries vaults. Last year’s selection of beers included marshmallow complemented Campout Porter, Dry Hopped Barleywine Style Ale, Cherry Chocolate Stout, River Ryed IPA. Listen up, this year’s selection of rare beers will be unveiled from the stage in between sets each day of the festival. Once each keg is tapped, the specialty beer will be available until it’s out, don’t miss out!

In addition to rare offerings, Sierra Nevada will be pouring the following selection of craft beer throughout the festival: Pale Ale, Back Porch Lager (festival exclusive), Nooner, Hazy Little Thing IPA, Torpedo Extra IPA, Beer For Drinking, Blonde and Kellerweis.

The High Altitude Lounge

New for 2018 the High Altitude Lounge will feature a special hangout area inside and around a Colorado Yurt Company yurt. The area will feature furniture from Kelty, Sierra Nevada swag and give you a chance to chat with folks from the brewery. Grab a special beer, kick your feet-up and enjoy the festival from the comfort of a Colorado Yurt Company yurt at the Lounge.

O.PenVAPE Sessions

These intimate sessions will take place between sets on the Main Stage and feature 2017 Telluride Blues Challenge winner Russ Chapman, the Husky Burnette Duo and Johnny Sansone Duo.
