2015 New Years Resolutions

A New Year's resolution is a tradition in which a person makes a personal commitment to do an act of self-improvement or something nice, such as opening doors for people beginning from New Year's Day onward.

We agree with this, but why not also open the doors to a new event in 2015! From the incarnation of Telluride Blues & Brews back in 1994, SBG Productions has grown into more amenities for Blues & Brews, more events, and more fun to be had each and every new year!

While we all know and love Blues & Brews, we invite you to consider one of our other events like the Durango Blues Train or Snowmass Mammoth Fest

Start your Summer off with Mammoth Fest! Much like Blues & Brews, Mammoth Fest is just a bit different. The festival is packed with three days of Music, Brews and Chili in Snowmass Village and features nationally touring bands, a grand beer tasting with over 25 microbreweries, two International Chili Society (ICS) cook-offs and tastings, on-site camping, and late night shows. Don't take our word for it, see for yourself!

If you are looking for a smaller event, and closer to the Blues, the Durango Blues Train serves up a musical journey on a 132 year-old steam powered train! Blues musicians perform in their own personal vintage coach car, while passengers are free to dance and sample the different musical acts by traveling from one rail car to next. Each evening will feature solo and duo acts along with two full bands, each offering an intimate concert aboard the historic train.

Blues Train passengers experience breathtaking views of the San Juan National Forest including the "Highline," a world famous section of railroad crawling along cliffs high above the Animas River. You don't have to be into Blues music to enjoy the Durango Blues Train as this train is always a memorable musical journey.

We look forward to sharing the music with you in 2015! Happy New Year!
