Introducing The 2024 Sierra Nevada Craft Beer Styles
The Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is thrilled to team up with long time craft beer partner Sierra Nevada Brewing Company again for the 2024 Festival!
Founded back in 1980, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is one of America’s premier craft breweries today and is highly regarded for using only the finest quality ingredients. The pioneering spirit that launched Sierra Nevada now spans both US coasts with breweries in Chico, California and Mills River, North Carolina. Sierra Nevada has set the standard for craft brewers worldwide with impressive innovations in the brew-house as well as leading sustainability initiatives. Sierra Nevada is also an industry leader for artisan brewers worldwide taking home numerous awards for their wide variety of beers and ales, including the legendary Pale Ale.
Throughout the festival, enjoy a variety of their beers at the Sierra Nevada Beer Truck, VIP bars, House of Brews, Blues Stage bars and the special High Altitude Lounge. From an easy-drinking, festival exclusive Scapegoat Blonde, hoppy IPA’s and wild creations, Sierra Nevada’s styles will satisfy casual beer drinkers, aficionados and everything in between.

Scapegoat Blonde Ale
Festival Exclusive! Brewed with hops from Montrose, CO!
ABV: 4.5%, IBU 39
Brewed in collaboration with the 2023 Cascade Cup winning Billy Goat Hop Farm in Montrose, CO, this Blonde Ale is crisp and clean with notable hop character thanks to Nugget, Cascade, Chinook, and Columbus hops. Flavors and aromas of pine and citrus balance notes of fresh-baked bread.
Pale Ale
5.6% ABV, IBU 38
Pale Ale’s unique piney and grapefruit aromas from the use of whole-cone American hops have fascinated beer drinkers for decades.
Hazy Little Thing IPA
6.7% ABV, IBU 40
This is hazy with modest bitterness and intense hop character. Making an unfiltered hop bomb may seem crazy, but to us, it’s a hazy little thing called IPA.
Sunny Little Thing - Citrus Wheat Ale
5% ABV, IBU 10
Bask in the sunny little thing, a wheat ale made with citrus for radiant flavor that’s bold yet easy going, and balanced by a soft and smooth finish.
Hoppy Little Thing IPA - Hazy IPA
5% ABV, IBU 12
Hoppy. Hazy. Crushable. This Hoppy Little Thing is bursting with juicy, tropical flavors and resinous notes from a blend of El Dorado, Cascade, Simcoe and Crystal hops. Keep the favor up with a beer that’s down for anything.
Torpedo - EXTRA IPA
7.2% ABV, IBU 65
Full Hops Ahead! Taste explosive hops with Torpedo’s powerful notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and pine. Our custom dry-hopping device, the Hop Torpedo, cranks aroma and flavor to full blast.
OKTOBERFEST - COLLABORATION FESTBIER
ABV 6%, IBU 30
Our authentic Oktoberfest is a collaboration with Brauerei Gutmann, an iconic German brewer that’s been family-owned since 1707. This classic Festbier is smooth and balanced with biscuity malt favor and a clean finish. Prost!
Otra Vez- Gose-Style Beer
ABV 4.9%, IBU 6
With a tangy zip of citrus and hint of agave sweetness, this tart Gose-style beer will have you calling for another round: Otra Vez!
High Altitude Craft Beer Lounge
Sierra Nevada Brewing Company is proud to present the High Altitude Craft Beer lounge!
During the festival Sierra Nevada will unveil rare and sought after craft beers. Many of these beers are only available at their Chico, CA or Mills River, NC breweries, special events or have spent time aging deep in the brewery’s vaults.
Once each keg is tapped, the specialty beer will be available until it’s out, don’t miss out!
