Telluride Blues & Brews Festival’s Official Art Gallery will be at Arroyo Wine Bar & Gallery, located at 220 East Colorado Ave! Stop by, have a beverage, light bites and enjoy artwork from festival photographers Barry Brecheisen & Dino Perrucci, artists Scramble Campbell & Daryl Price and other past festival poster artists. Some artwork will be available for sale. The gallery will be open daily for the festival weekend from Thursday to Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to close.

SUNSET BLUES CONCERT

Blues For Breakfast

Telluride Blues & Brews Festival's Blues for Breakfast is a special event during the festival weekend on September 19th and 20th at the Telluride Elks Lodge (located at the corner of Townsend and Pacific) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Blues for Breakfast is a hidden festival gem showcasing the renowned Telluride Blues Challenge among other festival solo blues musicians on both Saturday and Sunday morning. As you enter the Elks Lodge, you are welcomed by a breakfast spread of scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash browns, toast, bacon and sausages. Grab a plate of hot food, a cup of joe and enjoy live blues music in an intimate setting!

The Poster Artist: Daryl Price

The artist behind the 2015 Telluride Blues & Brews Festival poster is Daryl Price. Daryl is a self-taught painter whose work consists mainly of American Jazz and Blues musicians from the 1930's and 40's. He has created a unique, signature style emphasizing bright colors and movement. Believe it or not, Daryl uses no references when he paints, even though it is mostly realism. His long career as a competitive bodybuilder gave him the knowledge of human anatomy that he draws upon when painting.

"This Ain't No Mouse Music!" - A Fundraiser For The San Miguel Resource Center

Join us for Telluride Blues & Brews Festival's film premiere of 'This Ain't No Mouse Music!' on Wednesday, September 16th at 7:30 PM at Telluride's Palm Theatre. Following up on the successful format that was introduced in 2014, (with the showing of “The Girls in the Band” on the opening night of the Telluride Jazz Festival), this year KOTO-fm’s DJ Jimmy Jazz, the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, the Hotel Telluride and the Palm Theater are coming together to raise much needed funds and awareness for San Miguel Resource Center in 2015.

Durango Blues Train

Brought to you by the producers of Blues & Brews, the Durango Blues Train returns on August 21st and 22nd for two evenings of music aboard the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad in Durango, Colorado. This unique music experience features two full bands and four solo and duo acts. Musicians perform in their own vintage coach, while passengers travel from one coach to the next sampling each musical act. Keeping The Blues Alive

Keeping the Blues Alive was founded in 2011 by blues/rock musician Joe Bonamassa and his business partner and manager Roy Weisman in an effort to ensure the preservation of the blues music genre as well as music education as a whole. Bonamassa’s passion for music advocacy stemmed from a young age when blues legend B.B. King extended his hand and gave a young Bonamassa a stage to play on.
